      Job Description

      As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you design, build, and maintain comprehensive automated testing frameworks and infrastructure enabling your team to deliver high-quality software at scale. You architect testing solutions, mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers, and establish testing best practices and standards across your organization. You collaborate closely with software developers to identify critical areas for automation, analyze test results to uncover systemic issues, and drive continuous improvements to testing processes and tools. You have leadership responsibilities such as evaluating new testing technologies, managing test automation projects, and serving as a subject matter expert in quality assurance engineering. You balance hands-on test automation development with strategic oversight to enhance product reliability, reduce defect escape rates, and accelerate the development lifecycle.

      We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) to lead the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks and drive quality across our software development lifecycle. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Architect and maintain robust, reusable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality goals

      • Develop automated test suites using tools like Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, or equivalent

      • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms

      • Mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers, promoting best practices in test design and automation

      • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive resolution with development teams

      • Lead performance, load, and stress testing initiatives for critical systems

      • Contribute to release planning and risk assessment by providing data-driven insights

      • Stay current with industry trends and emerging tools in test automation and DevOps

      Required Skills & Experience

      • 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation

      • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.

      • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software development lifecycle

      • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

      • Familiarity with version control systems (Git), issue tracking tools (JIRA), and test management platforms

      • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
