What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and build scalable and reliable backend systems for scheduling infrastructure and telehealth functions
- Identify and solve complex technical challenges within the scheduling team
- Collaborate across teams to drive innovation and support the mission of impactful solutions
- Manage all phases of the development lifecycle including planning, execution, and post-launch maintenance
- Ensure systems are highly scalable, reliable, and performant
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with peers and stakeholders
- Experience in designing and building scalable, reliable systems
- Expert understanding of application architecture, API design patterns, and data modeling
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience at growth-stage companies, migrating legacy systems to microservices
- Demonstrable experience with sources of truth systems and 3rd party integrations
- Experience with AWS or equivalent platforms
- Familiarity with NodeJs, Typescript, and Kafka
