What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide pre-sales engineering support, including network design and technical training
- Develop and execute territory account plans based on market trends and business economics
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to end-customers and partners
- Assist in driving revenue and achieving sales quota goals in collaboration with account managers
- Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations for customers and partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Networking Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of pre-sales or equivalent experience with routing, switching, and Wi-Fi technologies
- Professional or associate-level networking industry certification (e.g., Cisco CCIE, CCNA) is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficient understanding of pre-sales engineering and technical sales processes
- Advanced knowledge of end-customer business drivers and network design improvements
- Familiarity with networking technologies including Wi-Fi evolution, RF behavior, and network optimization
- Experience with wi-fi design tools such as Ekahau and Hamina
- Knowledge of cloud services, VLAN, security, VoIP, and WLAN security
