What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, analyze, negotiate, and document contractual agreements and sub-agreements
- Serve as the primary contact for negotiation and acceptance of terms and conditions
- Ensure policy compliance by reviewing contracts for government/regulatory adherence
- Act as a liaison during the transition of awards and work with leadership to enhance procedures
- Correspond directly with sponsoring agencies to address project needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent related experience) in business administration or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in contract review and negotiation
- Proven experience in contract compliance and legal review of contracts
- Strong analytical skills to interpret rules, regulations, and policies
- Must reside in California and live within a commutable distance from the employer at the time of hire
