What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and operate cloud-native systems and services using GitOps workflows
- Build and manage Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions
- Collaborate with internal application teams to enhance platform usability and gather feedback
- Design and run scalable systems across data centers, edge devices, and public cloud environments
- Implement and maintain observability and security practices within infrastructure services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer assistance for employment authorization
- 6+ years of proficiency with modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java)
- 5+ years of experience with IaaS, PaaS, and Linux environments
- 3+ years of experience with streaming data services and SQL/NoSQL/Graph databases
- Proven ability to independently deliver features that enhance developer workflows or platform capabilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field
- Engineering experience with public IaaS companies (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Experience with infrastructure platforms in production, such as Kubernetes or OpenStack
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects on GitHub
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Spring Boot
