Job Description

- Perform month-end closing activities such as preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entries related to cash, prepaid expenses, payroll, accrued expenses, and other areas
- Conduct financial variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts and provide concise commentary for Senior Management
- Prepare supporting schedules for external auditors for periodic and year-end audits
- Conduct financial and cost analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Cost validate product invoices by verifying all information is accurate using knowledge of metal markets, exchange and labor rates.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures by evaluating current procedures and recommend changes as the team and company scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and clear presentation of data
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
