What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop features and improvements to the employer's product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
- Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
- Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Participate in Tier 2 or Tier 3 on-call rotations to assist in troubleshooting product operations and urgent engineering issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Significant professional experience with Python
- Experience in Frontend Development using JavaScript and frameworks like React or Vue.js
- Familiarity with GraphQL and RSpec
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication in a remote work environment
- Comfort working in a highly agile and iterative software development process
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of AI technologies, specifically experience with the employer's Duo Chat or similar systems built on generative AI
- Experience with performance and optimization problems and ability to diagnose and prevent these issues
- Self-motivated and self-managing with excellent organizational skills
