What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather and aggregate data from various sources for target regions to ensure comprehensive data collection
- Research open, public domain, and commercial sensor data sources to assess quality and relevance
- Utilize specialized tools to preprocess, align, crop, and resample geospatial data for team use
- Collaborate with AI/ML, Pipeline, and Product teams to meet their GIS data needs for new projects
- Partner with leadership to align on the high-level product vision and objectives

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment
- Proficiency with GIS modalities and formats such as orthoimagery, LiDAR, and vector data
- Basic scripting abilities (e.g., with Python) for automation of common tasks
- Experience with Linux or Unix shell environments

- Familiarity with open-source GIS libraries and tools, including PROJ and GDAL
