This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Staff level Electrical Engineer (ASIC) , you will be responsible for:
· You will be part of an ASIC design team that supports our future product development that are at the cutting edge of PET medical imaging
· You will perform research and develop ASICs internally with the team as well as with external semiconductor industry partners
· You will work closely with detector and electrical R&D departments to integrate our ASICs into our PET products
· You will use industry standard CAD tools to efficiently design, simulation, analyze, and layout of integrated circuits
· Leverage your understanding of low-level semiconductor device operation and the parasitics associated with implementation, enabling creative design to push circuit limits
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers
· You have experience in ASIC design using Cadence Virtuoso Custom IC Design Suite and Mentor Graphics backend verification tools
· You have an analytical approach to design challenges
· You have ASIC design, simulation, and analysis experience in complex analog and mixed signal designs
· You have experience using industry standard PCB schematic capture tools
· You have experience working in a team environment and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Required skills to have for the success of this role
· Master’s degree in electronics engineering or related technical fields
· Minimum of 5-8 years in ASIC design or other front end radiation detection design work
· Willing to travel up to 10%
