What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support
- Architect and guide the building of end-to-end systems optimized for performance, scale, and reliability
- Work primarily in Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with multiple teams to create and consume services while ensuring a customer-centric approach
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and application design
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 7+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications
- 3-5 years of experience running and supporting production systems on public cloud such as AWS
- Proficient in designing and building services with AWS
- Knowledge of Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or an engineering field, or proven experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the data domain and knowledge of building pipelines
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, and Data Protection
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
