  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Design and develop platform services for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
  - Build execution and scheduling capabilities for Spark/SQL jobs while focusing on throughput and developer experience
  - Implement features for lakehouse architecture, including schema evolution and ACID guarantees
  - Optimize data warehouses such as Snowflake for cost controls and performance
  - Deliver SDKs, CLIs, and templates for building reliable data products and enable CI/CD for data testing
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - 8+ years of experience building backend/platform software with Python, Scala, or Java, and strong SQL skills
  - Proven track record in designing distributed systems
  - Deep experience with Spark and AWS data services, including knowledge of scheduler/executor performance
  - Hands-on experience with data warehouse optimization, particularly with Snowflake
  - Experience building platform APIs/SDKs that are widely adopted by other engineers
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience with petabyte-scale data platforms and lakehouse technologies like Delta or Iceberg
  - Familiarity with metadata and governance technologies such as Unity Catalog or Collibra
