What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and implement core platform services, including the API gateway, scheduler, and lifecycle orchestration
- Develop intelligent scheduling and orchestration logic to match workload requirements with resource capabilities
- Build RESTful APIs with authentication and authorization, and architect the inventory database system using PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand workflows and integrate with existing systems
- Mentor team members and lead architectural discussions, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in production distributed systems
- Proficiency in Go and experience building APIs, schedulers, or orchestrators at scale
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and cloud-native technologies
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) systems
- Background in automotive software development or embedded systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with observability stacks including Prometheus or Grafana
- Track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams
