What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and implement core platform services including API gateway, scheduler, and lifecycle orchestrator using Go and cloud-native patterns
- Develop RESTful APIs with authentication and authorization, architecting the inventory database system using PostgreSQL
- Create intelligent scheduling and orchestration logic for resource management
- Build developer CLI tooling to facilitate resource discovery and management for developers
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand workflows and integrate with existing systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in production distributed systems
- Deep platform or infrastructure engineering experience, particularly in building APIs and orchestration systems
- Strong proficiency in Go with the ability to write clean, maintainable production code
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and experience with cloud-native technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) systems
- Background in automotive software development or embedded systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus or Grafana
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queue systems
