What you will do:Program Planning and Execution:Work alongside the organisation to define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteriaDetermine program schedule and capture all interdependencies between workstreams, focused on the overall critical pathLead teams through our hardware development phases, leading gate reviews and preparing products for launchEnsure product maturity and launch readiness throughout Prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT builds and validationBe an advocate for program excellence, keeping the team focused on what is necessary to deliver on time and in scopeRisk Management:Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategiesProactively address issues and obstacles that may impact program timelinesAddress conflict head on, actively working to overcome all adversity Communication:Foster a collaborative and productive working environment with open communication to all stakeholdersProvide regular program status updates to senior managementAct as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholdersBudget and Resource Management:Develop and monitor program budgets and expensesOptimise resource allocation for maximum efficiencyIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product qualityDocumentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive program documentation, utilising systems like Jira to keep everyone on track and moving in the same directionOwn the preparation of all program reports made public to each level of the companyDrive efficiency through systems both internally and externally with our CMs and vendorsOpen to candidates in the San Diego area. RequirementsWe would love to have you on our team if you have:8-10+ years of experience leading complex hardware programs from concept through market deliveryExperience working with all engineering disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Design, Firmware, Manufacturing, QualityExperience with NPI manufacturing bring upPost launch experience to sustain products over time.Great communication skills, both written and verbalA Drive for Results, willingness to learn and push the team to deliver on time and under budgetHave worked through complex Go To Market strategies including both retail and commercial deploymentA desire to learn new things and accept challengesComfort speaking to all audiences and the ability to adapt complex challenges into tangible solutionsBenefitsAt Oura, we care about you and your well-being. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.
