What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule and reassign staff to ensure the most qualified personnel meet current needs
- Communicate regularly with unit leadership and staffing colleagues regarding resource needs
- Directly interact with patient care colleagues to improve their availability for shifts
- Enter and maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping information
- Assist in the orientation and training of new Staffing Clerks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of staff scheduling experience
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Experience in a healthcare staffing environment preferred
