HR Specialist
- Onsite at Horizons Conference Center: 6200 State St, Saginaw, MI 48603. May travel locally as needed.
- M-F, 8am - 5pm. Will move in the new Hemlock plant once it is completed (ETA this summer).
- Interview process: Teams Meeting interview. Manager will hire from this one interview. Interviews will be held on Wed 5/28 from 8am - 11am.
The main responsibilities will be to answer and make phone calls to hundreds of candidates that are pending a start date with Company to answer questions, provide updates, etc. The manager is looking for candidates that are self-motivated, great communicators and highly organized. Must be very detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial outreach to potential candidates via phone calls and emails.
Support the HR team in building a strong candidate pipeline for various positions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate details, interactions, and feedback
Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth and positive introduction to our organization.
Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Help with local recruiting efforts
Education:
Associates preferred. HS Diploma required.
Skills/experience:
- Previous recent recruiting experience (1 year minimum) and experience managing a high volume of calls
- Excellent communication skills as this worker is basically speaking on the phone all day long
