      Paradies Lagardère brings 70 years of experience in pioneering trends, developing innovative shopping, and dining options, and delivering engaging experiences for airport travelers across North America. We seeking a General Manager for our newest concept at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport – Starbucks Coffee.

      Our Starbucks is located in the MacNamara Terminal just inside the TSA checkpoint where travelers can grab coffee on the way to their gate.

      As a General Manager with Paradies Lagardère, you will bring the Starbucks experience to life by managing store operations, driving financial success, and building a great team.       We want to hear from you if you have:

      • 5 - 7+ years retail / customer service management experience.
      • Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
      • Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment.
      • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team partners with professional maturity.
      • Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.

      Requirements

      • Obtain and maintain current Serve Safe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire/promotion.
      • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
      • Standing for long periods and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
      • Ability to work full time (the work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week) including variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays. The schedule is determined by business needs.
      • Proficiency required in reading and writing, Microsoft Office Suite, and mathematics.
