What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide primary support as the subject matter expert for z/OS operating systems and system components
- Assist in planning, implementation, and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to z/OS operating system and network
- Diagnose platform, software, and related product issues, following up with root cause analysis
- Support integration testing of new products with existing applications and user procedures
- Maintain and provide technical support for Mainframe Production Control and Support Jobs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with z/OS Systems Programming
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with JES2 and z/OS Unix System Services (OMVS)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with TSS (Top Secret Security)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with performance monitoring and analysis
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with REXX
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience with Informatica Power Exchange Administration
- Working knowledge of z/OS operation and networking, including VTAM and TCP/IP
- Familiarity with automated job scheduling and management software (JOBTRAC) and terminal emulator software (BlueZone)
- Experience with TLS configuration, including certificates and SSL
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like SCLM
