We are hiring a remote Compliance State Support Specialist.
The Compliance State Support Specialist is responsible for handling day to day communication needs of Monitors and/or State Authorities. State Support Specialists will assist in identifying compliance related risks with high-level reporting and account reviews. The State Support Specialist will also be responsible for providing internal support to ensure Intoxalock remains complaint regarding departmental processes and procedures, specifically within our Sales and Customer Service teams. Compliance State Support Specialist operate in a fast paced, high volume environment; a high degree of efficiency and attention to detail are required to meet role expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Resolving customer/Monitor compliance questions while maintaining customer/Monitor satisfaction.
2. Identifying potential risks and surfacing to Compliance Leadership and appropriate State Liaison.
3. Accurately executing all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and yearly compliance reporting and compliance account related reviews.
4. Assist with high-level reporting & compliance related questions through email/phone communication with State Authorities/Monitors and customer as necessary.
a. Influencing administrative rules to align with Intoxalock's strategy.
b. Developing and maintaining relationships with key individuals through email and phone communications.
c. Understanding and communicating regulator needs back to the Intoxalock organization to improve and align our products and processes to these needs.
5. Meeting Intoxalock's SLAs
6. Driving processes that streamline the compliance processes; recommending automation that streamlines and improves the accuracy of compliance processes.
7. All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
1. Prefer 2+ years experience within the Compliance Department.
2. High school diploma or GED required with some college preferred.
3. Strong verbal (both in person and phone) and written communication skills that can be flexed to fit a broad spectrum of situations with both internal and external partners and clients/customers.
4. Excellent organizational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritize numerous time bound tasks and switch between tasks efficiently.
5. Experience processing complex transactions and performing extensive research to resolve complex customer/state inquiries
6. Strong attention to detail leading to high quality work product.
7. A strong sense of accountability and work ethic with the ability to manage work independently.
8. Superior judgment and critical thinking skills to make a well evaluated decision regarding state regulations and company operating procedures.
9. Positive, resilient, consistent, customer-centric attitude. Patient, team-oriented demeanor.
10. Ability to analyze account documentation and device usage/history.
11. Computer skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Access and SharePoint preferred.
12. Effective problem solving skills used to identify efficiency, quality and/or service improvements to the work assigned.
