Seeking one Stellic Student Ambassador (Federal Work Study position) to help us get the word out to students about UVA’s advising platform, Stellic! Stellic helps students plan for classes, explore majors, and communicate with advisors. You can learn more here: https://stellic.virginia.edu/
Likely duties will include:
The right individual for this job should be comfortable speaking in front of an audience, be reliable and able to work independently, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and comfortable learning new technology. While Stellic is a software platform, no experience with software development is required; this position will not involve coding.
The student hired for this position can expect to gain experience related to the fields of communication, customer service, and change management.
These positions pay $15 per hour. Hires can expect to work 8-12 hours per week when classes are in session. Some remote work during semester breaks is possible. The position will last for the duration of the 2025-26 academic year.
To be eligible for hire, applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S., eligible for Federal Work Study and must be enrolled as full-time students at UVA.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
