Teach and facilitate live online classes (Zoom) for assigned cohorts, 4 days per week (Mon–Thu).
Deliver clear, engaging instruction aligned to Stepful’s standardized curriculum.
Support students in understanding Sterile Processing concepts across CRCST exam domains
Assess student understanding through assignments, quizzes, and in-class participation.
Provide timely feedback and targeted remediation to students who are struggling academically or with confidence.
Communicate regularly with learners via email and Stepful community tools.
Document student progress, attendance, and performance in Stepful systems.
Collaborate with Stepful’s learning team to ensure alignment with program goals and student needs.
Offer insights to improve the student experience and curriculum delivery.
CRCST certification (Required)
Experience teaching, training, tutoring, or instructing students or staff (Required)
Comfortable teaching live online classes over Zoom
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work approximately 10 - 15 hours per week, with afternoon/evening availability
Ability to follow a standardized curriculum while adapting explanations to different learning styles
Experience teaching Sterile Processing or CRCST exam preparation
Experience supporting diverse, underserved, or non-traditional student populations
Experience with online or hybrid education programs
Familiarity with competency-based education
Associate’s degree or higher in a healthcare-related field

The Role:
We are looking for a part-time Sterile Processing Didactic Instructor to teach in Stepful’s 12-week Sterile Processing Technician program. This role is dedicated to delivering high-quality online instruction, preparing students for the HSPA CRCST certification exam, and supporting learners through remediation when needed.This position is fully remote and requires approximately 10 hours per week, with an additional 10 paid onboarding hours. Ideal candidates will have CRCST certification and prior teaching experience. Afternoon and evening availability (Monday–Thursday) is strongly preferred.
