Sterile Processing Technician PAID Training - No Experience Needed
ChristianaCare is searching for an enthusiastic Sterile Processing Intern, to learn all appropriate processes and demonstrate basic knowledge concerning cleaning, inspecting, sterilization, and decontamination of instruments for the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. The program will begin on Monday, August 05, 2024.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes all classwork and assignments demonstrating active learning and involvement.
Successfully passes all learning module examinations and maintains class attendance.
Actively participates in precepted learning experiences in all areas of Sterile Processing.
Demonstrates understanding of aseptic technique and sterilization parameters.
Works constructively with other members of the health care team.
Responds to emergencies by notifying the appropriate person and taking direction from the appropriate person.
Compliance with mandatory education requirements and mandatory tests by the time given.
Program hours: Monday - Friday day shift 7 am-3:30 pm
**After completion of the program, you must be available to work an evening shift (3p-11:30p) or overnight shift (11p-7:30 am) with rotating weekends and holidays at Newark or Wilmington campus**
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or equivalent and/or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
