What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Store Manager with oversight of store operations, including hiring and supervising staff
- Maintain high standards of customer service and fast, friendly service
- Execute food program operations according to established guidelines
- Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Handle cash management and bookkeeping tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Experience in leading a team, including delegating tasks and following up
- Skills in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff
- Strong communication skills to convey plans and ideas
- High School diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous retail experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in food handling and safety practices
- Familiarity with cash-handling and bookkeeping
- Ability to advocate for and empathize with team members
- Experience in planning and organizing team activities
