      About the Role

      You will be responsible for the integrity of inventory activity through shipment exception, auditing, and analysis, as well as the accuracy of all inventory count activities. You will support the inventory count process by coordinating, setting up, reviewing, and updating all store inventory counts for assigned brand(s). You will be responsible for inventory count exception research and ad-hoc analysis to ensure the data integrity of our stores, with an eye towards continuous streamlining and process efficiencies. You will be expected to be a subject matter expert in inventory systems and processes.

      What You'll Do

      • Understand company inventory transactions, data, processes and systems in detail. Comprehend and promote the link between operational activity and financial impacts.

      • Analyze inventory count exceptions. Perform transaction analysis working with data from multiple systems

      • Summarize results of analysis, draw links with business process, present results, and potential solutions in a logical manner

      • Responsible for inventory accuracy in special stores (i.e., Real Estate, Dummy, Disaster, etc.)

      • Develop partnerships and work closely with Brand Operations, Strategy, Planning, Inventory Management, Product Management, Marketing, and Gap Tech teams.

      Who You Are

      • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field strongly preferred or equivalent experience

      • 3 – 5 years business experience in a corporate setting preferred

      • Thorough knowledge of perpetual and financial inventory control systems/applications (NAM/JPN SaaS, CGI, BI Publisher, NOVA) and/or aptitude for understanding various system applications

      • Comprehend the financial implications of inventory transactions

      • Intermediate working knowledge of Excel (i.e., data manipulation through v-lookup, pivot table, subtotal, and text to column functions)

      • Basic working knowledge of Access databases

      • Demonstrates strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

      • The candidate is expected to currently reside in Hyderabad, India.

      • Ability to adapt when necessary to work extended hours (including weekends) based on business needs
