      About the Role

      You will provide leadership and direction for the Store Support Inventory Team. You will lead, develop, and implement inventory business initiatives that affect a broad area of departments across the organization as they relate to store inventory activity. Identifies and implements ongoing opportunities for improvement and changes across departments. Responsible for the quality, development, motivation, and retention of department staff.

      The candidate is expected to currently reside in Hyderabad, India with willingness to work variable hours, accommodate deadlines, and travel occasionally as needed

      What You'll Do

      • Manage, develop, and motivate store inventory staff: Set goals, priorities, and measurements for the Store Support team. Ensure coordination, communication and cross training between Store Support team and business partners. Lead teams to identify and act upon opportunities for continuous improvement. Develop teams through career planning, skills development, and improving overall work environment.

      • Manage Physical Inventory Process: Facilitate annual count planning with each division. Oversee day-to-day review and release of store count results. Drive timely resolution of store count issues requiring Gap Tech or Store Operations support.

      • Manage Store Audit Process: Oversee all day-to-day store support processes. Oversee audit of shipments, transfers, sales, and adjustments between stores. Provide service to store managers in resolving audit issues and questions.

      • Customer Service: Monitor Customer service levels for Field and Corporate. Monitor inventory service vendor performance and provide feedback. Manage Key Performance Indicators. Ensure internal customers’ needs are identified and met consistently.

      • Promote Operational Excellence: Provide lessons learned and best practices across divisions. Identify and ensure that Store Support is represented in all inventory projects that affect the store inventory systems. Initiate and facilitate communications across GBS and Finance organizations to continuously improve processes and deliverables to business partners.

      Who You Are

      • Strong retail operation background

      • Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people.

      • Ability to learn and become subject matter expert quickly.

      • Ability to take ownership, initiate and drive results.

      • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

      • Ability to develop and motivate staff.

      • Robust system skills to identify issues and seek resolution quickly.

      • Deep understanding of control environment: ability to relate controls to operational practices to ensure accurate and complete financial results.

      • MBA or advanced degree preferred

      • 8-10 years of relevant professional experience; 5-6 years of supervisory experience

      • The candidate is expected to currently reside in Hyderabad, India.

      • Ability to adapt when necessary to work extended hours (including weekends) based on business needs

      • Normal working hours:

      • Knowledge transfer hours: (to overlap with US team)
