      KBR is seeking a talented and dynamic Strategic Brand Manager to join our team. The Strategic Brand Manager will play a crucial role in managing the company's brand strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our business objectives and resonates with our target audience. This individual will lead initiatives to enhance brand visibility, consistency, and impact in the marketplace.

      This role is pivotal in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent by ensuring that KBR is recognized as a known brand and an employer of choice. This person will help lead initiatives to amplify our company culture, values, and opportunities, ultimately strengthening our position as an employer brand leader.

      This role will report to the director of Global Marketing and will require strong collaboration with in-house global creative resources and cross-functional teams including agencies, business unit marketing and communications managers, technology, legal, and subject matter experts to fully produce effective and brand approved materials. This role will rely heavily on the ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct management hierarchy.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment across all departments and initiatives.
      • Collaborate closely with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to understand talent needs and tailor branding efforts accordingly.
      • Craft compelling employer brand messaging, highlighting KBR’s unique culture, opportunities, and employee experiences.
      • Consistently reinforce the brand vision, strategy, communication hierarchy, visual identity and manage compelling competitive differentiation.
      • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify brand opportunities and threats.
      • Define and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent messaging, visuals, and tone of voice.
      • Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, including digital and print collateral.
      • Manage advertising and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
      • Monitor and analyze key brand performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
      • Lead brand-related projects, including program launches and rebranding efforts.
      • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
      • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging best practices in branding and marketing.
      • Implement initiatives to enhance our presence on employer branding platforms, such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and industry-specific forums.
      • Create engaging content, including employee testimonials, videos, and articles, to showcase our workplace culture and values.
      • Develop and maintain employer brand guidelines to guide internal and external communications.
      • Measure the impact of branding efforts through data analysis and adjust strategies as needed.
      • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in employer branding to continuously innovate and improve our approach.
      • Ensure consistent brand story-telling and brand standards at all marketing touchpoints
      • Act as a brand/customer advocate to drive ongoing innovations for brand evolution and success

      Preferred qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
      • 9-12+ years of Marketing and/or Advertising experience, with including 5+ years of proven experience in brand management, with a track record of successful brand-building initiatives.
      • A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
      • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
      • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build relationships, present to and interact with people of all levels, while positively representing KBR.
      • Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools.
      • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decisions.
      • Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics.
      • Experience with jobs or projects during which you consistently paid a high level of attention to detail, multitasked and produced quality work in a timely manner.
      • Ability to solve problems at any step in a process — identifying causes and recommending and implementing solutions.
      • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position brand discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels
      • Able to work independently, highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage various competing priorities
      • Create measurement framework, analyze key drivers of brand performance and ongoing optimizations
      • Monitor and share insights such as competitive analyses, customer insights, and campaign recaps and leverage data to pivot as needed
      • Willingness to travel as needed
      • Hybrid work schedule, in the office a minimum of 2-days per week.

      Nice-to-haves

      • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and tools is a plus.
      • Understanding of talent acquisition processes and challenges is a plus.
