What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify key business issues and develop solutions and recommendations for stakeholders
- Manage major strategy projects with assistance from consulting resources
- Serve as a subject matter expert on membership, growth, and operational strategy issues
- Provide guidance and performance input to junior team members
- Develop analytical frameworks and methodologies to analyze strategy issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, or related field
- 2 years of post-graduate experience with strategy or management consulting firms or internal strategy groups in healthcare
- 6 years of related experience in Business or Healthcare
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant progressive strategic experience in lieu of a Master's degree
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive knowledge of Health Insurance and/or Provider operations
- Experience in operational improvement
- Thorough knowledge of membership, rates, financial, economic, and competitive data
- Knowledge of medical policy
