What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with business and market owners to identify key business issues and develop analytical solutions
- Manage major strategy projects with assistance from consulting resources
- Act as a subject matter expert on membership, growth, and operational strategy issues
- Provide guidance and performance input to junior team members
- Develop best practices for analytical frameworks and methodologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, or a related field
- 2 years of post-graduate experience with strategy/management consulting firms or internal strategy groups of healthcare companies
- 6 years of related experience in Business or Healthcare
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive knowledge of health insurance and/or provider operations
- Experience in operational improvement
- Strong understanding of membership, rates, financial, economic, and competitive data
- Knowledge of medical policy
