      The Ohio University College of Dentistry is seeking a Student Assistant for its Endodontic Division to join the patient care team. Endodontic Division faculty, dental student students and staff are specially trained in the use of advance technologies, such as digital imaging, operating microscopes and ultrasonic for diagnosing and treating oral and facial pain, and problems associated with the inside of the tooth. The college’s Student Assistant foe Endodontics is an important function in the health care delivery system in the College.

      The student assistant functions as an integral member of a team of care providers in the College of Dentistry's Endodontics Division to provide patient focused customer service and support to its dental students, graduate dental students, faculty, staff and patients. The Student Assistant assists the clinical care team by maintaining and stocking clinical areas, sterilization of clinical supplies, and to help with the turn-over the dental cubical spaces.

      Schedule

      Monday to Friday

      10-20 hours a week

      Position Requirements

      The ability to sit and stand for a duration of time is also necessary , hand-eye coordination, Individuals in this position may be exposed to the following: blood borne pathogens; chemical hazards (skin irritants); vibrating equipment; use of sharp instruments.
