      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist professional transportation planner staff with travel trend analysis and forecasts
      - Support the development of documentation and presentation materials related to transportation needs
      - Collect and analyze socioeconomic and land use data for transportation planning
      - Contribute to the preparation of materials required by federal regulations for transportation programs
      - Collaborate with senior staff on various transportation performance measures and air quality conformity analysis

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current enrollment in a vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution with at least 6 credit hours per semester
      - Proof of enrollment in the form of unofficial transcripts, acceptance letter, or current schedule
      - No specific prior experience required
      - Ability to submit proof of legal right to work in the United States
      - Must be available for scheduled work shifts within the specified limits of the position

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in urban or regional planning, geography, economics, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
      - Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in a work or classroom setting
      - Familiarity with database management and statistical analysis tools
