      • Base Salary $61,822 + 17% superannuation

      About the opportunity

      The Student Centre is the first point of contact for prospective students, current students, internal stakeholders and the general public to receive advice, assistance and support on student administration related enquiries and transactions. The Student Centre Assistant is an essential member of the Student Centre team, responsible for responding to enquiries.

      Your key responsibilities will be to:

      • complete administration tasks including email correspondence, handling of queries, generating academic transcripts, payments and mailing transcripts

      • provide email correspondence with internal and external stakeholders

      • export university data across Microsoft Excel.

      About you

      • experience in providing quality customer service

      • the ability to apply common sense, sound judgement, sensitivity to individual circumstances, and maintain a high level of confidentiality

      • strong communication abilities both written and verbal

      • experience and a capacity to analyse, identify and solve problems independently and in teams whilst working within a clear set of protocols and guidelines.

      • ability to meet deadlines and effective time management skills

      • proficiency in word processing and basic excel skills.

      Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. For a continuing position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.

      Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
