What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect information for the Value Engineering team, including reviewing component parameters and supporting product testing
- Gather supply chain related data such as cost, price, demand, and inventory
- Create documentation to substantiate the choice of new components
- Provide comparison data from similar components and interface with the supply chain
- Maintain and update the proposal database with status/progress updates and data content
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled in a University/College internship program, completing the 3rd year in a 4-year program of Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong oral and written communication skills for interfacing with various teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously
- Must be adaptable with a strong desire to learn
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with engineering-related projects or coursework
- Familiarity with supply chain processes or documentation
- Ability to generate proposals and charts for reporting purposes
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards
- Interest in sustainability and community engagement initiatives
