A Brief Overview Participates in a planned research project by performing research protocols. Works independently and self-directed; is required to consistently exercise discretion and good judgment in execution, interpretation of experiments, and of data derived.
What you will do - Proficient in the use of a wide variety of lab techniques, research equipment & research software
- Possess a thorough knowledge of laboratory equipment
- Performs experiments which require analysis of results & interpretation of data or scientific methods
- Assists with planning specific research protocols & procedures
- Assist in development & troubleshooting of new techniques
- Assist in preparation of materials to submit for IRB approval
- Assist in the preparation of reports and professional research papers
Education Qualifications - High School Diploma / GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications - Several internships or paid experiences in research laboratories Preferred
Skills and Abilities - Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in an organized fashion, work well with others
- Good attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications desirable
