Position Specific Summary
The student Research Assistant will assist the Principal Investigator (a faculty member) by reconciling 20 transcripts with the interview recordings. Duties may also include analyzing qualitative data, attending study team meetings, providing administrative support towards meeting project deliverables and sponsor requirements, facilitating financial management, and/or assisting with drafting a study publication and/or presentation abstracts. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Standard Position Description
The student will perform administrative and research tasks under general supervision by a faculty member or research coordinator. Tasks may include: contribute to peer reviewed research and write research memos of findings, assist with presentations, supervision and training of other student staff, write and run statistical programs to analysis data. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental/faculty needs.

Required Qualifications
Previous skills, training, or experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably a registered nurse (RN) holding a Master's degree or higher
- Preferably a PhD in Nursing student that the faculty member can mentor on qualitative nursing research
