Job Description

- I accept the RA position for the 2023-2024 academic year and will fulfill the duties outlined in the RA job description. If I was offered the Peer Advisor (PA) position (returners only), I accept the position and will fulfill the duties outlined in the PA job description.
- If offered a position in apartment or suite style housing (East Side Apartments, Monadnock, and East Side Residence Halls), I acknowledge that I will be living with roommates in a shared space and will begin to connect with potential roommates. More information on roommate selection will be shared soon.
- I will attend Welcome Day on Wednesday, April 5th at 4:00pm. I will make accommodations with any current commitments for this time and date in order to attend. Any issues regarding attendance should be discussed with Johnny Beksha prior to this day.
- I will attend Fall RA training with an anticipated start date of August 14th, 2023. This is a mandatory training that will run for two weeks, through opening weekend and the start of fall semester. You should not have any outside commitments during this time. Any issues regarding attendance should be discussed with Johnny Beksha and your future supervisor.
- I will attend all other meeting and training dates during the application and on-boarding process.
- I will attend all other meeting and training dates throughout the academic year. This includes, but is not limited to, all-staff meetings, winter training, admissions events, etc. Exact dates will be provided during fall training.
- Weekly staff meetings for all RAs will be on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm. I will be sure that this time is free during the year so that I can attend these meetings.
- I will attend and assist with the recruitment and hiring of RAs for the 2024-2025 academic year, including participation in Group Process and RA interviews.
- I will continue to abide by all Community Standards and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. I understand that failure to do so could result in loss of this position.
- If I haven’t lived on campus before, I will pay the $100.00 housing security deposit, and will email housingquestions@snhu.edu to communicate my deposit status.
