      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and review utility substation drawings, including General Arrangements, Elevations, Cable and Conduit Plans, and more
      - Act as a technical leader on moderately complex projects, planning and coordinating project phases
      - Perform calculations using engineering formulas and resolve design problems through field investigations
      - Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers within the team
      - Conduct detailed quality control (QC) reviews of design calculations and documentation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
      - 4 years of engineering experience required
      - Prior experience in the physical design or protection and control design of electrical power substations
      - Ability to review and produce various design drawings and perform AC & DC substation studies
      - Valid driver's license preferred and must have permanent authorization to work in the US

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - PE License strongly preferred, with the ability to obtain within 1 year
      - Experience using ground grid modeling software
      - Knowledge of substation protection and control schemes and basic relay settings
      - Familiarity with National Electric Code (NEC) and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)
      - Knowledge of Rural Utilities Service (RUS) design guide
