      We are seeking a Substation Electrical Engineer (with Revit) to join our Transmission & Distribution team in Romania. This opportunity is open to candidates based in Bucharest (hybrid working model: 50% from the office and 50% from home), as well as candidates located in other cities in Romania (fully remote). We also welcome applications from candidates based in other countries; in this case, relocation to Bucharest is required to follow the hybrid working model, and visa and relocation support may be provided for suitable candidates.

      Job Description

      Here is what you will do:

      • Assist in the design and development of High Voltage Substations (up to 500kV) for a diverse stage of project.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Civil, Structural engineers, designers, and project management ensuring project success.
      • Perform modeling/CAD activities in Autocad, Revit and Microstation based on rules provided by a senior engineer.
      • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with project requirements and industry standards (IEC/IEEE/ANSI/AS).
      • Good knowledge of MV and HV systems: Substation Equipment, Fittings and Assemblies for HV conductors (Compression join bolted assemblies & bolted Tee Clamps / Dropper supports / Conductor Spacers & Earth Stirrups / Adaptor Plates / Earthing Termination / Fittings for Tubular busbars).
      • Producing drawings for each stage of the project: Single Line Diagrams, HV and MV Substations Equipment Layout & Sections, Cable sizing, Cable Routing and Sections, Earthing and Lightning Layouts
      • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into designs.
      • Support senior engineers in project development.

      Qualifications

      Here’s what we’re looking for:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Power Engineering;
      • Minimum 2 years professional experience in T&D Substation design;
      • Strong knowledge of Autocad 2D and 3D software;
      • Good knowledge of Revit, BIM360;
      • Advanced English language skills.

      Nice to have:

      • Good knowledge of Bentley Microstation software;
      • Advanced level in Revit;
      • Knowledge of ETAP and 3D software is an advantage;
      • Practical working experience with different international clients, involvement in international projects dedicated to substations in Romania and abroad at different voltage levels (from 22kV up to 500kV);
      • Good people and communication skills and ability to interact with project team members.
