      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct legal research to support cases and issues under consideration
      - Draft essential legal documents, including briefs, motions, and subpoenas
      - Assist with discovery requests and represent the State at docket
      - Prepare cases for trial by organizing evidence and materials
      - Engage in litigation opportunities for those with a State Bar of Texas Supervised Practice Card

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school
      - Bachelor's degree AND completion of one (1) year of law school
      - Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and perform various physical tasks
      - Strong legal writing and research skills
      - Submission of a cover letter and resume when applying

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience or coursework related to criminal law or justice
      - Previous internship or clerkship experience in a legal setting
      - Familiarity with legal research tools and resources
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
