      Req#: 4881745
      This is a part-time seasonal laborer position working up to 28 hours a week performing a variety of basic laborer tasks at the Water Treatment Plant and remote pump station grounds. Must be available May through August. (May through October availability is preferred.)
      1. Performs yard work such as operating zero turn mowers, weed whipping, edging, etc.
      2. Performs miscellaneous indoor/outdoor painting
      3. Performs miscellaneous cleaning tasks as assigned
      4. Maintains flower beds and landscape by weeding continuously
      5. Rake grounds and pick up sticks and debris as necessary.
      6. Performs other duties as assigned.

      1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
      2. Experience performing manual labor tasks required.
      3. Must have reliable transportation.
      4. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
      5. Must be able to work independently.
      6. Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
      7. Ability to use equipment such as zero turn mowers, edger, trimmer, and/or chainsaw preferred.

      1) Must be willing to work varied hours or workdays, according to the weather
      2) Must be able to kneel, stoop, squat, reach and stretch repetitively.
      3) Must be physically fit to perform the duties and able to lift 35 pounds.
