Process customer payments. Involves manual posting of EFT payments to customer accounts, identifying, resolving and posting correction transactions for cheque, bank teller, PAD and online banking payment exceptions and posting transactions for incoming and outgoing misdirected payments.
Initiate ENMAX Commercial Retail billing system setup/changes (add/delete/change sites/billing attributes) for identified customer contracts.
Process administrative requirements of Sales agreement throughout its lifecycle and validate paper contract attributes.
Contribute to workflow efficiencies by reviewing, updating or creating documentation to support operational procedures.
Other duties as assigned
Currently enrolled in a Degree or Diploma in Accounting , Finance, Business or Technical program and will be returning to full time school following the work term.
Accounting, Finance, Business or Technical post-secondary program.
Basic skills or above in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software functionality would be an asset.

The Commercial Support & Operational Billing Summer Student will provide critical support to ENMAX Energy by performing administrative activities, gathering data and processing customer transactions.

This position is part of the 2024 ENMAX Summer Student Program. This 16-week program demonstrates ENMAX’s commitment to invest in our future workforce and supports youth in building beneficial career skills. To be eligible applicants must be enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma program at an accredited post-secondary institution and must be returning full-time in the fall.

Salary: Administrator Level B (Current CUPE 2024 rates)
Step 1 – $24.22
Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
