      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise coders and assist with training, performance counseling, and workload management
      - Collaborate with the coding manager on scheduling, payroll, and physician education
      - Perform production coding as needed to support the team
      - Build strong relationships and facilitate communication between stakeholders and support departments
      - Identify and address workflow issues, implementing process improvements as necessary

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of an Associate's degree
      - Minimum of 3 years experience as a production coder related to the coding team being supervised
      - Excellent organizational and project management skills
      - At least 1 year in a leadership role or similar oversight of staff and processes
      - Professional Coding Certification

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a healthcare coding environment
      - Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS coding systems
      - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      - Effective communication and interpersonal skills
