      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise coders and assist with training new staff while managing workload goals and performance standards
      - Support the Coding Manager with scheduling, payroll, and work queue assignments
      - Assist with production coding as needed to meet operational demands
      - Build strong relationships and facilitate communication between stakeholders and support departments
      - Organize and monitor special projects to ensure timely and accurate completion

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of an Associate's degree
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a production coder, including assigning ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS codes
      - Excellent organizational and project management skills
      - At least 1 year in a leadership role or similar oversight of staff and processes
      - Professional Coding Certification

      - Experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on coding and revenue cycle management
      - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve workflow issues
      - Familiarity with healthcare compliance and coding regulations
