What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team in care management, utilization management, and behavioral health services
- Assist in implementing health management and program activities in compliance with regulatory standards
- Train and support team members to ensure adequate support for high-risk, complex members
- Monitor staff performance and assist in the application of protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with leadership to address operational issues and resource needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in managed care in relevant areas
- Active and unrestricted clinical licensure (RN, LVN, LPN, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LMSW) as required by state regulations
- Ability to manage conflict and lead through change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to manage multiple deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certifications such as Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Certified Professional in Health Care Management (CPHM)
- Experience working with Medicaid/Medicare populations
- Clinical experience in healthcare settings
- Supervisory or leadership experience
