Assist in identifying classroom and district needs for technology resources.
Participate in the decision-making process regarding acquisition and deployment of instructional technology.
Keep current with educational technology trends, research, and best practices.
Manage technology-related budgets, purchasing, and software licensing.
Coordinate technology infrastructure needs with classroom integration priorities.
Lead and participate in Technology Review Team activities.
Coordinate updates to the district’s technology plan and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Serve as a liaison to regional and district committees related to instructional technology.
Supervise and support the technology department staff.
Lead the integration of technology into classroom instruction and curriculum design.
Support the implementation of online learning platforms and digital resources.Coach teachers and administrators in designing and implementing technology-enhanced, learner-centered instruction.
Provide ongoing, job-embedded professional development focused on instructional technology.
Collaborate with curriculum specialists and building administrators to align technology with curricular goals.
Participate as a member of the District Leadership Team, the District Supervisor Cohort, and the Instructional Leadership Team.
Lead and facilitate the Instructional Technology Team work.
Develop and deliver high-quality training for certified and classified staff.
Organize and facilitate district-wide workshops during district professional development days and other in-service programs.
Offer training in the use of district-standard software systems (e.g., DASL, ProgressBook).
Recommend and support technology solutions that enhance data-driven decision making.
Provide technical assistance and problem-solving support for technology users districtwide.
Serve as the district’s point of contact for technology vendors and consultants.
Manage and oversee E-Rate applications and compliance.
Communicate technology goals and progress to stakeholders across the district.
Participate on the Strategic Plan Team.

Familiarity with instructional software, student data systems, and digital learning environments.
Ability to manage technology staff, projects, and budgets.
Knowledge of district goals, mission, and instructional priorities.
Certification in Educational Technology or related endorsements.
Prior experience managing E-Rate or similar funding programs.
Proven leadership in designing and delivering technology-enhanced instruction.
Experience with curriculum and instruction planning in K–12 education.

Days: 260 Days (includes 12 holidays),
Annual Contract: July1 - June 30

The Supervisor of Technology/CIT oversees the coordination, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional and administrative technology systems across the district. This leader ensures technology is effectively integrated into curriculum and instruction, manages digital resources and infrastructure, supports staff in developing technological competencies, and aligns all technology initiatives with the district’s mission to enhance student achievement.
