      Job Description

      Please note this is a full time permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week - Competitive Salary. Hybrid working is also available

      We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead to join our fantastic team at our site based in Tamworth. If you are passionate about a rewarding career supporting Forensic testing and want to use your expertise to its full potential, then this is a great opportunity to join a well-established and successful market leading company with over 30 years’ experience in providing Forensic Services to the Police forces of England and Wales, as well as other commercial organisations and public sector bodies.

      • This is a truly exciting time to begin or continue your career with our first class business, as a Supply Chain Lead you will be responsible for managing the multisite Central Forensic Warehouse function, whose core responsibility is to coordinate the purchase and distribution of consumables across the Eurofins Forensic Services estate, as well as working alongside the central procurement team to manage the ordering, volume control, receipt and storage of common/highly used items and work with key stakeholders from all business units and sites to manage delivery of stock into teams with a just in time approach.
      • The successful candidate will also be expected to manage all aspects of supply chain for the Workplace Drugs Testing (WDT) unit working with direct customers, collection officers and key contracts, and embed a continuous improvement ethos in the team, whilst owning and leading the process of identifying new alternative products ensuring only quality and cost-effective alternatives are progressed.

      • If you have previous experience of line managing and leading a project, along with continuous improvement or lean experience, then we would love to hear from you.
      • This is a brand-new role, and whilst there is huge potential and opportunity to “make it your own”, you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with front line day to day activity until the Warehouse facility is up and running.

To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
