      Title: Supply Chain Project Manager
      Location: Mysore, Chennai

      Job Description:

      Key Responsibilities
      • Supplier Onsite Management
      o Act as the primary onsite representative of our Supply Chain team at the supplier's facility.
      o Monitor day-to-day supplier operations, production schedules, and material flow.
      o Ensure adherence to delivery commitments and escalation triggers.
      • Material & Delivery Assurance
      o Track part status from raw material receipt through manufacturing, inspection, and shipment.
      o Identify risks to material availability or shipment schedules and drive corrective action plans with the supplier.
      o Work closely with supplier planning, production, and quality teams to ensure delivery of conforming product on time.


      • Project & Stakeholder Management
      o Create and maintain delivery dashboards, shortage trackers, and recovery plans.
      o Provide regular status updates to internal supply chain, procurement, and program teams.
      o Escalate systemic issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams (quality, engineering, logistics).
      • Performance Improvement
      o Support supplier development initiatives to improve capacity, throughput, and reliability.
      o Facilitate daily/weekly reviews with supplier leadership to align on open actions and commitments.
      o Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance using lean tools and problem-solving methodologies.

      Qualifications & Skills
      • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
      • 8–12 years of experience in supply chain management, supplier program management, or project management (preferably in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industries).
      • Strong knowledge of production planning, procurement, logistics, and supplier operations.
      • Proven ability to work independently onsite, manage complex schedules, and influence supplier outcomes.
      • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and project management tools.
      • Willingness to be based full-time at supplier site, with potential travel to other supplier facilities.
