What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a program agent for assigned child support cases
- Locate noncustodial parents and establish paternity
- Determine and assess child support obligations and health care coverage
- Ensure compliance of child and/or medical support orders through administrative and judicial enforcement actions
- Manage a substantial caseload and utilize case management processes to support families
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Skill in information collection, analysis, and problem-solving
- Ability to interact with a diverse public and handle difficult situations with tact
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to child support enforcement
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in case management or processing financial transactions
- Knowledge of legal processes and experience preparing legal documents
- Familiarity with child support enforcement
