What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on wind turbines and related equipment
- Operate and care for company property and equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct status checks and troubleshoot issues on turbines, including error code management
- Complete daily service orders, time cards, and necessary paperwork for projects
- Travel extensively to various job sites as required, representing the employer’s core values
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 to 2 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components of wind turbines and energy systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with CSA Z462 / NFPA 70E and ability to identify appropriate PPE
- Basic understanding of schematics and proficiency in using a multi-meter
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge
- Previous experience working in a renewable energy environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
