Support Worker - Grade B1 - Job DescriptionSpring Gardens is a residential home for older people requiring 24-hour care. We support residents using strength-based approaches to retain and regain their independence, set goals and aspirations, and remain connected with local communities and those important to them.
We are recruiting to the following posts:
2 x 30 hours B1 support worker
Are you caring, enthusiastic and passionate about quality care delivery? Do you have an understanding of the needs of older people, and can you demonstrate a commitment to person centered approaches? If so, we would like to hear from you.Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as possessing numeracy abilities. A commitment to equal opportunities, and an understanding of disability issues and some experience or knowledge of caring for vulnerable people is essential. The posts require providing personal care and support applying strength-based approaches and empowering individuals to achieve their potential.
It is a requirement of the role that the successful candidates be able to work flexibly covering shifts on a rota basis, including evening, weekend and bank holiday working.
Although the role is primarily based at Spring Gardens, there may be, from time to time, a requirement to cover at other locations.
