      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Schedule and post patient surgeries, coordinating pre-operative and post-operative appointments
      - Communicate effectively with patients regarding their plan of care and scheduling of services
      - Obtain accurate patient information for procedure documentation and ensure proper authorization for services
      - Collaborate with primary care physicians or specialists to comply with medication recommendations
      - Maintain professional communication with the physician care team regarding patient needs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent
      - Minimum two years of patient service experience in a healthcare setting
      - Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
      - Comfortable using email and Microsoft Office applications
      - Excellent communication and documentation skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Clinical certification preferred
      - Knowledge of lab/diagnostic tests and associated paperwork
      - Experience working with managed care and Medicare populations
      - Familiarity with practice management and word processing software
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
